Homosassa Scalloping
Sit back and enjoy a high speed trip to the Gulf of Mexico to catch your dinner! We will teach you how to find and catch your own scallops.
Just bring lunch and we’ll provide the rest!
We provide an in water guide to teach you how to find and catch scallops. Scalloping is likened to an underwater, Easter egg hunt. We provide snorkeling gear, fins, a mesh bag for your catch, licensing, and, or course your knowledgeable captain. For first timers, it can seem a little difficult, but once your guide has shown you what to do, this tour is so much fun. While searching for scallops you may see sea turtles, sting ray, many different fish, coral and sponges. We often see dolphins on the way to the scallop grounds, and/or on the way back to the dock.

You should be a good swimmer, and able to dive up to about 6 feet.
