We did not know what to expect but we were amazed by this experience. Master Captain Traci Wood was highly knowledgeable and treated us to an unforgettable encounter with manatees. The tour was well-organized, safe, and truly magical from start to finish. I highly recommend Homosassa Manatee Snorkeling Center. Her deep connection with the animals and the environment.

We had an amazing encounter with the manatees Mom and baby on our trip Captain Dee is a wealth of knowledge and a great Captain! The wetsuits are older but worked fine and the snorkels aren't the kind water can't go in but we didn't use them anyway. Might want to bring your own. They also don't get in the water or take pictures for you. I took my own and got some great shots!

You will have the time of your life she knows where to take you what to look for and enjoys herself because you are enjoying yourself in the water with these magical beasts who crave our attention for some strange reason. Amazing and truly magical! If the manatees initiate contact, which they totally did because they are like giant floating puppies, then you are allowed to pet them. Then even rolled on their backs for tummy rubs! The business was professional and well run, with a good stable pontoon boat and ladder. I was also happy to support a woman owned and operated business.
